Lightridge enters 2025 with one clear message: Don’t underestimate us. Head Coach Robert Eavenson’s team knows they lost a ton of production from last year, but they’ve been grinding since April to clean up the little things that made the difference in close games. With a new crop of talent ready to step into bigger roles, the Bolts are looking to surprise some people this fall.
Offseason standouts include weight room warriors Alex Csala and Carson Ruhe, both of whom are expected to anchor the defense. Quarterback Owen Working has embraced a leadership role and showed sharp command of the offense in 7-on-7s. Two-way standout Brayden Oshode is getting well-deserved college interest, and new assistant coach Tony Rozzoni brings valuable experience to the staff.
The offense may rely more on its running back tandem of Jeremiah Pettiford and Brock Schneider early on, while veterans like Vernon Lewis add depth. On the offensive line, Aidyn Anderson and Luke Ducich bring back starting experience, with Ducich returning for his third year and serving on the team’s leadership council.
Lightridge’s defense will still be aggressive and focused on stopping the run, though fans might notice more mixed coverages. The coaching staff isn’t focused on specific opponents—they’re focused on themselves. And if they execute, clean up turnovers, and play disciplined football, don’t be shocked if the Bolts light up the scoreboard and the standings.
